Health and wellbeing are affected by all aspects of life—where people live, learn, work, receive care, and socialize. Our Health Solutions program works to address the social determinants of health and promote equitable health access and outcomes for all people, communities, and populations.
We target issues where improvement can be accelerated through greater collaboration between health professionals and leaders from other sectors, such as community development and infrastructure, nutrition, food and therapeutics production, transportation, education, city planning, and associated governmental, as well as private and non-governmental organizations. We work with diverse constituencies to develop policies, strategies, and partnerships that improve whole-person health and wellbeing outcomes and reduce health disparities.
We bring experience to a broad range of initiatives and issues, such as leading transformation and invigoration of the public health system; improving care for those living with serious illness; promoting antibiotic stewardship and discovery; engaging communities in disaster preparedness policy development; refining standards for medicines and supplements; supporting cross-sector health collaborations; and navigating food, drinking water, and controlled substance legislation and regulation.
Using community input to develop guidelines for allocating limited medical resources in crisis situations.
Using input from public health leaders and practitioners to improve health outcomes for all people.
A collaborative approach to accelerate lead service line replacement around the country.
Developing policy recommendations for improving access to palliative care.
